ARROWSA Palmiet Envirowalk 2013

The Palmiet Envirowalk was such a success thanks to so many people: ARROWSA Bechet group, Luthando, Bheki, Ms Seidle; Mr Williams and Bechet High Interact; Nosipho, Mr Nkomo and Ethekwini Natural Resources; Lauren and CCMS, UKZN; Sana and Green Heart city; Sertanya and Eco Schools; Nick, Warren, Jean and the Palmiet Nature Reserve Management Committee and the public! Thank you everyone it was such an enjoyable morning and really brought so many together to promote heritage and culture for Peace!  Two groups wents on fauna and flora walks whilst one group went across the river to the iGwalagwala cliff archaeological dig.  All took black dirt bags with them to pick up litter.  A group of youth even joined us from Tongaat Eco Schools.  Ethekwini Natural Resources supported the morning with the presence of the Acting Manager who said the morning was 'inspiring'.

A wonderful morning of face-to-face meetings between people from diverse backgrounds.

The ARROWSA team worked hard and sold refreshments toward their fundraising efforts so that they can attend the Indra Global youth Congress in Derry 2013.

Nosipho, Palmiet Nature Reserve manager, once more supported the ARROWSA event with great enthusiasm.

Young and old had a good time whilst promoting our natural and cultural heritage for Peace!
