DUT LHM ARROWSA Collaborative Jewellery Exhibition 2014
DUT Jewellery design students produced beautiful jewellery for this years exhibition.
ARROWSA Bechet learners led by Bhekithemba Dlamini met with Indra Director David Oddie visiting from the UK as well as Local History Museum staff and visiting world architectural conference delegates
DUT Fine Arts and Jewellery Design head Chris de Beer and Jewellery Design lecturer Marlene de Beer at the opening with visitors from the public
ARROWSA Bechet learners entertained the public with their traditional songs and dances outside of the Old Court House Museum before the opening speeches
Director of Indra and founder of ARROW, David Oddie (MBE) was a guest speaker who entertained and enlightened the visitors.
ARROWSA Bechet moved the audience with their songs and poetry. Especially the poem by Darnell Fortune.
The exhibition still runs till the end of September so go and view the beautiful art deco artefacts on display and purchase your own beautiful piece of art deco inspired piece of jewellery.
